VERSA INTRODUCE NEW
STAINLESS STEEL FLOW CONTROL VALVES
STAINLESS STEEL FLOW CONTROL VALVES
A FULL FLOW - FLOW CONTROL VALVE
Due to the unique design of the Versa flow control valve it has a larger flow than many other conventional models. When used to control the speed of valve actuators, because of the high flow - the 1/4 with a Cv of 2.0 and the 1/2 with a Cv of 5.0 - it could be possible to dispense with the use of a quick exhaust valve in some cases.

HAZARDOUS AREA APPROVALS
AND CERTIFICATION
All Versa European hazardous area solenoid housings, operators, and valves have been ATEX approved for a number of years. In line with the policy of Versa to maintain their highest standards, both the Flameproof and Increased Safety solenoid operators have been approved by the IEC - the International Electrotechnical Commission.
The Flameproof solenoid is certified Ex d IIC T4 to T6 Gb - IEC 60079-1.
The Increased Safety solenoid is certified Ex e mb II T5,T6 Gb - IEC 60079-7 & 18.
Due for the new approval standard also will be the Intrinsic Safe solenoid. At present this operator is ATEX approved II 2 G E Ex ia IIcT4 to T6.
Also available from Versa for all other non-solenoid operated valves is the ATEX EC Declaration of Conformity certificate for non-electric spool valve product(s).

VERSA ADDS NEW ACCESSORY VALVES
TO VMAP MANIFOLDS AND CONTROL SYSTEMS
TO VMAP MANIFOLDS AND CONTROL SYSTEMS
Originally designed as additional optional features for the VMAP, Versa pneumatic relief valves together with block and bleed valves are now available as separate products.
The 1/4 relief valve is manufactured throughout in 316 stainless steel is suitable for working pressures up to 10 bar (150 psi). Pressures can be set and locked at any increments above 4 bar (60 psi). The main function of the relief valve, whether fitted in the Versa VMAP control package, or in side ported valve control system, is to relieve excess pressure downstream of a filter/regulator that may be caused by a possible malfunction.
This protects actuator valve stems and control valve diaphragms from over-pressurisation.
The 1/4 block and bleed valve is also manufactured throughout in 316 stainless steel. The valve has a design pressure of 40 bar (600 psi) and 19.75 bar (290 psi) maximum operating pressure.
The main function of this valve is to enable the operator to remove and change gauges without shutting down the control system. As with the Versa relief valve this can be fitted in the Versa VMAP control package or in instrument air side ported valve control systems.

VERSA INTRODUCE VMAP
VERSA MODULAR AIR PACKAGE
VERSA MODULAR AIR PACKAGE
Versa have designed a 316 stainless steel control package for valve actuators and other control systems such as found within the harsh environments of the oil and gas industry.
Designed to incorporate most if not all of the pneumatic control elements into one modular system, the VMAP can include isolating valves, filter regulators, solenoid, manual, and pilot valves, along with speed controls, relief valves, and block and bleed gauge isolating valves. Lock-out valves can also be included in the circuit for partial closure and solenoid valve testing facilities.
The VMAP is available in 1/4 and 1/2 sizes with 3 port and 5 port flow configurations, and is suitable for both single and double acting valve actuator control systems.
The benefits of the VMAP system are:
- A considerable reduction in the size of the control package compared with the equivalent side ported valve system.
- The reduction in tubing and fittings also reduces potential leak points throughout the whole control system.
- Less assembly time to install a VMAP control system means reduced labour costs.
